How Trust Scores Work
What the 0–100 score and tier mean, how engagement and inactivity move them, and where to see the result.
Verified August 13, 2026 · FastIQ staging lead record v1.10.2; trust UI and scoring services checked in product source
Trust Score is FastIQ's read-only 0–100 measure of engagement quality over time. It is not a credit score and users cannot edit it directly. FastIQ updates it from recorded engagement events and from inactivity decay.
Trust tiers
- 0–24: Low.
- 25–49: Developing.
- 50–74: Established.
- 75–100: High.
FastIQ records upward and downward crossings at 25, 50, and 75. Those threshold events can be used by configured automation, but crossing a tier does not itself grant permission to contact a lead.
What can move the score
- Communication engagement, including email opens, clicks and replies and answered calls.
- Portal and strategy activity, including portal creation and recorded portal events.
- Meaningful file activity such as document uploads and certain verified financial-data actions.
- Inactivity, which applies source-aware decay after the initial grace period.
Inactivity decay
The daily decay service uses the number of days since the last recorded activity:
- 0–14 days: no decay.
- 15–30 days: minus 5.
- 31–60 days: minus 10.
- 61–90 days: minus 15.
- 91 days or more: minus 20.
Decay will not take a score below its source floor: Lead Aggregator 5, Exclusive Funnel 15, Direct Inbound 20, Referral 35, and Unknown Source 10.
Where to see trust information
- The lead list includes a Trust column and a trend indicator when trend data is available.
- The lead record can show the numeric score, source, tier, weekly trend, and email-engagement status in Fast Intelligence surfaces.
- My Day can show a trust value on a prioritized call-list item and uses trust decay as one urgency signal.
