Event-Driven Sequences and Legacy Drips

Choose the current event-driven engine and understand how older drip campaigns are migrated.

Verified August 13, 2026 · FastIQ staging Campaign Sequences v1.10.2; Legacy Drip migration notices inspected

Event-Driven Sequences are the current campaign model. They can respond to lifecycle events and contain timed wait steps. Legacy Drip is a read-and-migrate area for campaigns created in the older engine.

  • Use an event-driven sequence when outreach should begin or branch because a meaningful product event occurred.
  • Use wait steps when the next action should occur after a defined number of minutes, hours, or days.
  • Migrated conditional branches continue to execute, although visual editing for those branches may not yet be available in the builder.
  • A migrated manual-trigger campaign remains manual enrollment only; migration does not invent an automatic trigger.
