Configuring External Lead Sources
Create tenant-specific lead sources, generate private delivery URLs, and control attribution, duplicates, and routing.

Settings > Lead Sources manages the providers, campaigns, forms, and other systems that deliver leads into your FastIQ organization. Every source belongs to one tenant and controls attribution, duplicate handling, routing rules, and the default loan officer.
Create a lead source
- Open Settings > Lead Sources and select Add Source.
- Choose the named provider and enter a recognizable source name. FastIQ includes presets for LendingTree, Free Rate Update, Bankrate, NerdWallet, rate marketplaces, Mortgage Research Center, Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin, plus a standard option for other providers.
- Choose the default loan officer and configure any source-level duplicate or routing behavior.
- Save the source. FastIQ automatically creates private posting URLs for Default/unspecified, Purchase, Refinance, and Home equity/HELOC delivery.
- Copy only the URL needed by the provider and deliver it through a secure channel.
- Use Test to verify the credential and tenant route without creating a lead, then have the provider send a controlled test lead.
What happens when a lead arrives
- The provider adapter translates XML, JSON, form, Zapier, or supported email delivery into the canonical FastIQ lead model.
- The selected URL records the source, purpose, and optional sub-source or campaign.
- FastIQ checks for a duplicate using the source configuration.
- Routing can evaluate source, sub-source, loan purpose, state, and campaign before falling back to the source default loan officer.
- The source dashboard records the last delivery, accepted and rejected totals, duplicate count, and most recent error.
